Home Generator Installation in Greenwood Village & Denver, CO
Whole-home and standby generator installation and service for Colorado homes.
About Our Home Generators
Never lose power again. BES installs and services whole-home standby generators, ensuring your family stays safe and comfortable during Colorado's unpredictable weather.
Home Generators
Every job includes the following - no hidden add-ons, no upcharges.
Whole-Home Standby
Generac, Kohler, and Briggs & Stratton automatic standby generators sized for your home, typically 14kW to 26kW for full coverage.
Permitted Installation
We handle the electrical permit, gas permit, AHJ inspection, and Xcel coordination. Your install is fully documented for insurance and resale.
Natural Gas or Propane
Natural gas standby for homes on a Xcel gas line, propane for homes on tank service. We size and connect either fuel source.
Automatic Transfer Switch
Generator kicks on within 10 seconds of an outage and powers your home automatically. No extension cords, no fuel stops.
Annual Maintenance
Yearly tune-up: oil change, spark plugs, battery test, transfer switch exercise, and a full self-test under load.
Portable Generator Hookups
For homeowners not ready for a full standby, we install interlock kits and inlet boxes so a portable generator can safely power your panel.

Home Generators FAQs
A typical 18kW–22kW Generac standby generator runs $9,500–$15,000 fully installed, including the automatic transfer switch, gas connection, concrete pad, and electrical/permit work. Pricing depends on home size, load calculation, and fuel type. We provide a firm written quote after a free in-home assessment.
It depends on what you want to power. A 14kW unit covers essentials (furnace, fridge, lights, a few outlets). A 22kW unit runs most of a 3,000 sq ft home including AC. A 26kW handles larger homes with multiple AC units. We do a Manual J–style load calculation so you don't over- or under-buy.
