Most retrofit recessed lights run $150–$250 per fixture installed (LED housing, trim, dimmer-compatible) when there's attic access above. New construction or remodels with open ceiling are $100–$175 each. Bigger jobs price down per fixture.
Mostly yes — with attic access we can install retrofit cans through small drilled holes. Without attic access (second-story ceilings, vaulted ceilings) we make minimal cuts and patch them, but expect some drywall touch-up. We always walk you through what to expect before starting.
